There's much to see here. So, take your time, look around, and learn all there is to know about our females. Our current breeding females are: Lady, Maggie, Liebe, Gina, Mia, Arielle, and Rosa
At the bottom of our page are our retired females, Mady and Dayna. They are enjoying their retirement right here at Schutzhaus German Shepherds. So, be sure to check them out as well.
All of our dogs are AKC registered. The puppies will get the AKC application for you to register your puppy when you adopt him or her.
NOTE: Please remember that all of our puppies, who are adopted, are not to produce any litters. Our puppies are adopted as pets only.
Robin Krumm of Royalair German Shepherds was trying to find a conversion to the OFA equivalent, with no luck so here is what she came up with (we are using this conversion with permission). Since we are really only concerned with the normal range for the breed, logically:
0.250 to 0.397 = Excellent (Gina - 0.26, Maggie - 0.35, Arielle - 0.39, and Rosa - 0.32)
0.398 to 0.545 = Good (Lady - 0.41 and Liebe - 0.44)
0.546 to 0.69 = Fair
Anything better than 0.249 (Mia - 0.22) is obviously rare right now but would be Superb if OFA were to go there.
Therefore, make sure to check out all of my dogs' testing results with each dog. Each dog's PennHIP results are listed with each dog. As you will notice, my dogs have fantastic hips.
Lady was born in June 2021. She also has the Royalair's German Shepherd bloodlines. Her sire is Menard's Legendary Royalair's Natsu. Natsu is bicolor. Her dam is Menard's Legendary Ardent Haus Koa. Koa is black and tan, but she is a very light black and tan.
Lady's color has been hard to figure out. We thought she was a black and tan. However, her true colors have finally come out and she actually is a dark black and tan sable. This is due to her under coat being a different color than her top-coat. Either way, as you can see by the photos, Lady has a lot of color. Lady currently weighs 75 pounds. Lady is very playful and energetic. If you are looking for a puppy to run with you or go on hikes, I highly recommend one from Lady. She is a very happy and an intelligent little lady who loves to have her belly rubbed.
Testing: Lady has had her Embark testing completed and she is completely clear of over 200 genetic health conditions that Embark tests for. Lady's PennHIP test reveals her hips to be in good range with a distraction index of 0.41. Her PennHIP results is shown below. Lady's parents are both DM normal. Since both of her parents are DM normal, she is also DM normal based on parentage. Embark testing revealed that Lady is DM normal. We are taking deposits on this beautiful little lady.
Lady will soon begin extensive training for her CGC Title followed by the FTI title and hopefully the search and rescue title. Watch for updates on this really smart girl!

Maggie was born in May 2022. She is a black and tan and looks a lot like her mama, Mady. Maggie also carries the Royalair's German Shepherd bloodlines. Her sire is our Kaiser, Ardent Haus Kaiser of Schutzhaus. You can learn more about him on our males page. Her dam is our Mady, Royalair's Schutzhaus Mady.
Maggie is stocky, but a short-framed female. We predict Maggie to be around 75-80 pounds when she fully matures. Maggie is very playful. If you are looking for a puppy to run with you, play fetch, keep your children busy, but don't want a large dog, we highly recommend a puppy from Maggie. She is very happy and an intelligent little lady.
Testing: Maggie has been embark tested. Maggie does carry one copy of the variant ALT. This means she is a carrier, but it will never effect her. Her offspring's may carry one variant, as well. However, since both of our Males are 100% clear, the offspring's will never be effected if they carry this variant. All of Maggie's other Genetic health risks were clear. Maggie's PennHIP test reveals her hips to be in good range with a distraction index of 0.35. Her PennHIP results is shown below. Maggie's parents are both DM normal. Since both of her parents are DM normal, she is also DM normal based on parentage and her Embark testing results. We are taking deposits on this beautiful little girl, who looks so much like her precious mama, Mady.

Liebe was born in May 2022. She is a litter mate to Maggie. Although she is registered as a black and cream, she is now looking like she has changed to a black and silver. Liebe also carries the Royalair's German Shepherd bloodlines. Her sire is our Kaiser, Ardent Haus Kaiser of Schutzhaus. You can learn more about him on our males page. Her dam is our Mady, Royalair's Schutzhaus Mady.
Liebe is a lean female. We predict Liebe to be around 80-90 pounds when she fully matures. Liebe loves to run and is very playful. If you are looking for a puppy to run with you, play fetch, keep your children busy, but don't want a large dog, we highly recommend a puppy from Liebe. She is very intelligent and learns things quickly.
Testing: Liebe has been embark tested. Liebe was 100% clear of all 273 Genetic health risks tested. Liebe's PennHIP test reveals her hips to be in good range with a distraction index of 0.44. Her PennHIP results is shown below. Liebe's parents are both DM normal. Since both of her parents are DM normal, she is also DM normal based on parentage. We are taking deposits on this beautiful little girl.

Gina was born in June 2022. She is a Dayna puppy. Gina is a beautiful silver sable. She also carries the Royalair's German Shepherd bloodlines. Her sire is our Kaiser, Ardent Haus Kaiser of Schutzhaus. You can learn more about him on our males page. Her dam is our Dayna, Royalair's Dayna of Schutzhaus.
Gina is a lean female. We predict Gina to be around 80-85 pounds when she fully matures. Gina is very loving and loves to climb up in your lap. She is calm, like her mama, Dayna. Even though Gina is smaller than Dayna. I think she could get a lot bigger than what I predict her to be at maturity. We will be monitoring her as she continues to mature. She is very intelligent and learns things very quickly.
Gina has not been Embark tested, but will be soon. As soon as the testing is completed, we will be posting her results on this page. Gina's PennHIP test reveals her hips to be in excellent range with a distraction index of 0.26. Gina's parents are both DM normal. Since both of her parents are DM normal, she is also DM normal based on parentage. We are currently taking deposits on her next litter.

Mia was born in June 2023. She is a Greta puppy and litter mate to our male, Duke. Mia is a stunning silver sable. She, as well, carries the Royalair's German Shepherd bloodlines. Her sire is our son's male, Salhaus Barnabus Vom Sackett (Bear). Her dam was our beloved Greta.
Mia is a very stocky, big-boned female. We predict Mia to be around 105 pounds when she fully matures. Mia is a sweetheart! She is very calm and loving like her mama, Greta. Since Mia is Duke's sister and Bear's Daughter, Mia can only be paired with Kaiser. This pairing will be phenomenal. Mia, like her mama Greta, is a plush coat. They will be large, gentle, and loving.
Mia has been embark tested. Mia does carry one copy of the variant Copper Toxicosis. This means she is a carrier, but it will never effect her. Her offspring's may carry one variant, as well, but will never be effected by it. Also, a lot is still not known about this variant and some researchers believe it could be environmental. However, since Kaiser is 100% clear, the offspring's will never be effected if they inherit this variant. All of Mia's other Genetic health risks were clear. Mia's PennHIP test reveals her hips to be in superb range with a distraction index of 0.22. Mia's parents are both DM normal. Since both of her parents are DM normal, she is also DM normal based on parentage and her Embark testing results. We are taking deposits on this gorgeous, big girl.

Arielle was born in July 2024. She is a gorgeous black and red saddleback. She carries the Royalair's German Shepherd bloodlines. Her sire is Southern Legacy's Saturday Night Roper. Her dam is Southern Legacy's Jolene. Her dam goes back to the popular Royalair's German Shepherd, Freedom of the Seas.
Arielle is a super sweet girl. She is very calm and loves to receive her petting, A LOT. Arielle is standard size and only weighs 60 pounds. However, we predict her mature weight will be about 70 pounds. Arielle can be paired with any of our males, but we will mostly use our big male, Duke. Since Duke carries the red gene, this pairing should produce black and red's, as well as, black and tan's. Even though Arielle is standard size, pairing her with Duke should produce large puppies, since Duke weighs 133+ pounds and is still growing.
Arielle has been embark tested. Arielle is 100% clear or the 273 genetic health conditions that Embark test. Arielle's PennHIP test reveals her hips to be in excellent range with a distraction index of 0.39. Also based on her Embark testing, Arielle is DM normal. Since Kaiser and Duke are also DM normal, their offspring's will be normal. We are taking deposits on this gorgeous, big girl.

Rosa was born in October 2024. She is a stunning Liver and Cream. She carries the Royalair's German Shepherd bloodlines. Her sire is Narnias Abraham of Rosehall. Her dam is Wolfgang Haus's Snowy Eve of Rosehall. Rosa is long haired and can produce long haired puppies, since both of our males carry the long haired gene.
Rosa has a super funny personality. She LOVES to play. She is a big girl that currently weighs 82 pounds. We predict that she will be close to 100 pounds when she fully matures. Rosa can be paired with either of our males, Kaiser or Duke. Since both of our males carry the long haired gene, pairings with Rosa will produce long haired puppies. Plush and standard coat can also be produced. Rosa is a stunning Liver and Cream. Livers are rare and are hard to produce. In order to produce liver, both parents must carry the brown gene. We will be diving into their traits more to see if either male carries the brown gene. We will keep everyone posted on our discovery.
Rosa has been Embark tested and PennHIP tested. Her Embark testing indicated that Rosa inherited one variant copy of the ALT Activity gene. This means she is a carrier, but it will never effect her. Her offspring's may carry one variant, as well. However, since both Kaiser and Duke are 100% clear, the offspring's of either pairings will never be effected if they inherit this variant. All of Rosa's other Genetic health risks were clear. Based on Rosa's Embark testing, she is also normal (clear) of DM. Rosa's PennHIP test reveals her hips to be in the excellent range with a distraction index of 0.32. We are taking deposits on this gorgeous, big girl.

Mady was our very first female. She had beautiful babies that loved to play fetch and go on walks or hikes. Mady is a true lady and a gentle soul, unless you want to play fetch, LOL. She is enjoying her retirement right here on our small farm. To carry-on Mady's legacy, check out her two babies - Liebe and Maggie, who have been added to our breeding program.

Dayna is a beautiful tri-sable. She had babies with a lot of color. She also had long-haired babies. Her babies like to play in water and play with lots of toys. She is enjoying her retirement right here on our small farm by playing with the other females' babies and is a great babysitter. To carry-on Dayna's legacy, keep an eye out for her baby, Gina, that has been added to our breeding program.
Tillie was a fantastic, loving girl. She was happy and loved to play fetch. Her and Greta were best friends. Tillie was a great momma, who loved her babies. She left us way too soon.
Tillie became ill and was rushed to the veterinarian. The veterinarian determined that her heart was failing. The reason behind her heart failing was unknown to us or the veterinarian since all her bloodwork came back normal.
Tillie will be missed greatly and is buried next to our beloved pug, Petey, right here on Schutzhaus German Shepherds' property.
We love and miss you, Tillie!
Greta was a remarkable girl. She was very loving, gentle, and liked giving hugs to everyone she met. Greta had some very pretty babies that carried on her loving nature. We are blessed to have two of her babies as a part of our family, her big boy, Duke, and her very sweet girl, Mia.
Greta developed pyometra during her heat cycle. Pyometra is an infection in the uterus.. Since pyometra is very hard to detect, it went undetected until she was in critical condition. Unfortunately, Greta went sepsis from the infection and the Veterinarians were unable to save her.
Greta will be greatly missed by all who knew this loving, fantastic girl. She is buried next to her best friend, Tillie, on our Schutzhaus Shepherds' property.
We love and miss you, sweet Greta girl.
